Stuck ink cartridge carriage

Hello,

I want to change the cartridges of the Epson Stylus C62, but without success.
The cartridge carrier is stuck on the right when stopped, so it is impossible to open it. I try to extend and restart but nothing works. I can't see how to access the movement function to open it.
Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,

There may be a solution, but be careful, you need to go slowly!
If you have a ribbon that connects the cartridge carriage, gently pull on it to bring the carriage towards you to replace the cartridges and it should get back on track. This has happened to me before, and I've always done it this way, but slowly with the ribbon!

I tried gently but the ribbon (or the tablecloth) is getting stuck and I don't want to force it and break it! Any other solution?

It needs to be dismantled in that case; it might be the cable that's stuck somewhere.

I finally managed to move the cart and change the ink, but the button indicating that there's no ink keeps blinking. When I try to start a print job, it doesn't work, and if I check the computer settings, it says that printing cannot be done because there is no paper, even though, of course, the paper is loaded correctly. I'm going crazy!
