Faced with a traumatic advertisement indicating that my ink cartridge was exhausted, I had to be resourceful and "force" my printer to do the job I had asked of it, and the operation worked...
Indeed, when your computer – collaborating with the dark forces of the "ink cartridge" industry – "drains its last cartridge" and tells you that your cartridge is exhausted, well, that's not the case!
Not at all... You still have a good amount of prints left if you use the printer's "high quality print" or "photo quality" option.
I am a translator and produce a fairly large number of prints, and here I am a week printing on my HP cartridge reserves with rather decent print quality.
So my question is the following: do the technico-marketing strategies of ink cartridge manufacturers ignore the amount of ink that goes to waste each year, when discontent users receive the (misleading, in my view) notification that their cartridge is exhausted?
