Thank you for your response,
Actually, I found out that to check the status of my ink cartridges, I need to look at the small screen located at the top left of the printer. I saw two tiny cartridges appear and the signal that one needed to be changed. It's quite small, but from now on, I know where to look. Have a good evening. Orphéa

I can't find the HP Solution Center to check the ink level (I have an HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One printer). Can someone please tell me how to do it? Thank you in advance.

HP Solution Center if PC system change just reinstall the printer software suitable for the PC system that is to say, Vista software will work with Windows 7 but the HP Solution Center will have disappeared and therefore reinstall printer software of its PC version see here driver and installation software http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=fr&dlc=fr&sw_lang=& product=3560275#N273 on this page it is for HP C 5380 with Windows 7 and the display of cartridge levels will be on the PC screen by opening HP Solution Center with the printer turned on
To check the ink level of my cartridges, I start a print job from my computer (any print job), then a small window will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen, and by clicking on it, I can see the cartridge levels. I hope I was able to help you. (P.S.: I have an HP Vista computer with an HP printer)
