Hello, I just downloaded the "winzip 9.0" version. However, it's in English. Does anyone have a French patch so that I can read it in French?? Thank you in advance.

Hello!
If you know English and search on Google, you'll see that apparently, French is not yet planned!

http://www.winzip.com/french.htm

But since you don't know English, here’s what’s on WinZip:
"The French version of WinZip 9.0 SR-1 is now shipping.

You can download a fully functional evaluation version of the French version of WinZip here:"

The French version of WinZip 9.0 SR-1 is in development. You can download a fully functional evaluation version of the French version of WinZip here:

If I requested the French version, it is precisely because I neither speak nor understand English. If not, before having the final version, I had a one-month trial version and it was indeed in French. How do you explain that?
Thank you for your answers.

I had understood that you had skipped your English classes!
As for the trial version in French, it is common for publishers to launch versions in multiple languages.
Then, the final versions are in English, while waiting for the translations later on.

I think my winzip version I don't know what is more than enough for what it has to do... So do like me, take back your French version while waiting for the cutting-edge version in French.

Hello,

As efficient, if not more so, than Winzip, free and in French, you have Izarc:

Thank you. I had it before on trial and it's true that during the trial, it's in French. Thanks anyway..

Hello again, is the paid version not in French? Because I also wanted to buy it; can you confirm that for me? Thank you for your response.

Say, do you read sometimes? See post 4 above for an excellent free solution, in French and better than Winzip!

Hi, I received a phone confirmation from Avanquest, the purchased version is indeed in
FR unless you have the trial version, in which case you need to uninstall it.

Explain to me why the hell you insist on having Winzip 9 in French when Winzip 9 is paid, when you have difficulty getting it in French, and when IZarc is just as good, if not better, free, in French?!!

Me too, I have the same problem! And I would like to find a free version of WinZip in French. If you have received good responses since your July announcement, please share them. Thank you.
