Hello everyone

When I start a scan with Avast, it begins the scan and after several files, it freezes. It not only freezes Avast but also the entire computer. I have no access to anything. I uninstalled and then reinstalled Avast but it didn't change anything.
Thank you in advance for your responses

    Hello everyone

All my problems came from my mouse that was connected to the USB port. Indeed, I unplugged my devices and restarted the PC. Everything worked well, so I reconnected the peripherals one by one until I found the faulty device.
As I've often read on the forum, "always go for the simplest solution."
Thank you all for your help

      Hello

I tried to have my PC checked on the site "securiser.com". The site's antivirus starts the scan and never stops! I had to stop the check after 2 hours. I noticed it was scanning the file "C:\\documents and settings\Sophie\local Setting\Tempory". The most surprising thing is that I can't find this file on my PC.

Hoping someone can find a solution to help me, thank you in advance.

      Hello,

do a search on your PC (start->search).
As soon as you find it, delete everything that’s in it.
But it’s not certain that this will solve your problem.

      Hello,

Double click on the desktop. Go to the tools menu -> folder options -> view and check "show hidden files". Maybe it will allow you to see the folder you are looking for (but not sure).
