Why does Avast! block uTorrent? Solved

Question

Hello, I have Avast as my antivirus and I can never download torrents... Avast blocks either uTorrent or P2P access, what should I do, is there a configuration to make for an exception or something else???  Thank you for your help :)

Good evening!  I want to know how to stop Avast from blocking uTorrent... No idea... I'm going to ask a bit of everyone to find out how to do it :)  Catch you later!

Good evening ;)  Torrenting is illegal to begin with. And if you get caught, well, it's going to hurt ^^ But we don't care about that, when downloading via torrents or p2p, you have a high chance of getting infected. That's why Avast blocks uTorrent. But what's the point? Downloading a movie via torrent or DDL is still illegal! The only difference is that DDL is slower and no one can know what the connection between the client and the server is for...  So far, I haven't had any problems... I don't download movies, just music or ebooks, nothing else, but not in astronomical quantities, just from time to time...  I would like to know how to prevent Avast from blocking uTorrent...

Hi,It's simple, disable the network module, it's an IDS (not great actually), it monitors packets based on their size, shape, number, direction, and obviously, peer-to-peer doesn't sit well with it.The slightest network issue, especially in-game, with Avast present, think first about disabling the network module, then check the firewall.
