Hello,

I’ve just acquired the TNT Lazer DTT-80 receiver, but it’s not working at all: that is to say, when I start the installation, it only finds 3 HD channels (France 2, M6, and TF1), and the following message appears on the screen: "Unsupported video type." Could this mean that my TV cannot receive TNT? I doubt it.

If you could shed some light and help me with this, I thank you in advance.

this has nothing to do with TV, it simply means that
1- the reception of ALL channels is not possible (signal loss, poor reception, etc.)
2- the receiver is an SD receiver, so it can indeed receive the channels but is unable to decode them (in HD), SD is in mpg2, HD in mpeg4

Thank you for your response. Allow me to make a comment and ask a new question.
The comment: As the TF1 broadcast is decoded, I suppose my adapter should be able to decode France 2 and the others... except, of course, if the received signal is too weak.
The question: Where are the transmitters for TF1 and France 2 located geographically?
      Thank you and best regards.

    Hello,
It seems logical that the decoder would display this message if it is connected to an old television.
Hence, the TV does not support HD (latest generation flat screens)
