Solved

Hello,
I just bought a CD in the store. I can extract it in Windows Media Player, but I can't find it in Windows Media Player. However, it is copied in my "music" library. That's not where I want it! Previously, I was able to copy CDs without any problems. Where does this problem come from? I can't find any solution. Please help me!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.28

      Hi Jmarion,
For my part, the FLAC and MPEG 4 files do not want to integrate into the player's library. With your method, will they integrate automatically and normally like an MP3 or WMA file?
      Thank you.

    Hi,
I tried but it doesn't work. I opened Windows Media Player and did what you told me to do, but nothing! Could it be an issue with this software because it's not the first time this has happened. I tried to copy old CDs but I always find them in my music library. I like using WMP and seeing those little album covers! What is this problem? I'm getting desperate!!
    Thank you

I'm in the process of doing a test with a CD and I'll come back to explain how to do it if your player has no issues

I just did a test and there are no problems, the CD is correctly extracted to the location I specified by default in the music library, and the album is present in the WMP player; I think you must have a problem with the player
Try this trick that is supposed to solve some issues related to WMP12

Press the Windows key and R simultaneously
In the Run window, type or paste this: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player
      Then hit enter

In the window, select all and delete
If any error messages pop up, click Ignore.
Note: there will always be a file named CurrentDatabasexxx.wmdb, that’s normal.

This has the effect of "clearing" the database that contains the names of files played by Media Player.
      Restart WMP12 and try again
      A+

    Hello;

    Try this:
1-Open WMP >> Organize >> Manage libraries >> Music >> Add and search for the title of your album saved in your music library and the player should update
