Internet connection problem with my iPad

Hello,
I have an iPad that detects the Wi-Fi from my D-LINK home modem, but when I try to open Safari, it's impossible to load the page, and the following messages appear:
you are not connected to the internet
or
Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found
or
Safari cannot open the page because the connection to the server is impossible
??? I don’t know what to do anymore!! I'm with Orange and I have my personal D-LINK modem!! Can you help me? Thank you in advance, Pat

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0

On the iPad:
Settings > reset > reset network, after the restart, select the network and connect using your WEP, WAP, or other key...

This resolved signal loss issues, even though the Wi-Fi icon and the Wi-Fi connection in the settings were active.
