Hello,
As many have said, you need to go to: Options, configurable states
Then, display: all states, check advanced mode, then display filters: drawing
Next, to check what type of invoice was generated at creation, I went to customer documents and selected: Invoice, then: Create and on the new invoice you create, you will see displayed on the tab: new invoice [A4 format (the selection type)...........]
It needs to be [A4 format with logo] to be correct
Then I went back to the list of states (actually, I don't close any files) to check where the format that appears when creating an invoice is located, usually this is checked by default along with many others.
Next, I highlight it and click the button: tools and: make the state invisible.
Go back to invoice creation and follow the same procedure until you have [A4 format with logo]
Of course, in the states, you will also have checked: [A4 format with logo] right click: use by default
Normally, that's all there is to it, I hope I was clear enough.
For me, it works
Good luck to everyone!

Hello,
Here is the long-awaited solution for those who have sky commercial management evolution! I struggled to find it online, and had to rack my brains.
So you need to go to:
Folder then Options, then Configurable Status.
Select the section Client parts Drawing, you will see FORMAT A4, click modify then duplicate and give a name to your file.
Edit it and enjoy ;)
P.S.: When printing, the new model does not appear in the list, but if you do a print preview, it is there and you can print it!

Hello,
For those who have a problem like mine with the use of parameterizable "drawings" created in Ciel commercial management, I found help in the help section (and yes, for once!), which explains that you can create your client documents:
- in standard mode (neutral) = it's only at printing that you choose the document drawing you want (with this mode, I managed to use the drawings that I created myself)
- and a Document mode = which allows you to save your invoice directly onto the drawing itself (I haven't yet figured out how to use a state I created with this mode)
See the software help:
"Access: menu File - Order Options - Preferences - Commercial Management
In this window, you can set the default entry mode for sales commercial documents.
You can opt for:
a Standard entry: the classic commercial document window will be displayed.
a Document entry: you will enter the information directly into the relevant commercial document. This entry mode allows you to quickly prepare a quote, invoice a client, issue a credit note, record an order, etc.
You immediately visualize the final result of the commercial document. Indeed, the commercial document you are creating will have the same properties as the one you will print (font, size, color, etc.).(only for sales commercial documents).
having a choice of entry.
In this case, a message will ask you, before creating the document, to confirm the desired entry type."
If anyone has an answer to succeed in using another state than A4 format for "document entry," I would be interested! Thank you
Have a nice day!
Claire

For those who managed to create their personal documents but couldn't codify them as permanent (like me, I spent over 3 hours without success; they were created correctly, but when I wanted to create a new commercial document, I always ended up with the base template and not the one I had created), information obtained directly from the source of the technical support "ciel":
"file" "options" "preferences" "entry of commercial documents" "standard entry"
and to convert the already created documents, select the document in question, right-click, convert to standard mode, and your document will now appear with your personal templates and no longer with the base template.

Hello
I have the official version (no pun intended) of Ciel Estimates & Invoices, version 6.2
I finally found the solution to put a logo at the top of each invoice, estimate, or receipt.
On that note, I want to thank Diego who, due to his position, inspired me a lot.
The problem was simple, I couldn't find exactly the states Diego described, namely:
Folder / Options / Configurable states / Client document design, and thus no A4 FORMAT.
I have (be careful to close all windows):
Folder / Options / Configurable states, and there I have three different sections to modify:
-Receipt design
-Estimate design
-Invoice design
In each of them, you need to change the default value (White paper receipt with discount) to "White paper receipt with logo and discount"
To do this, simply right-click on the desired value, in this case "White paper receipt with logo and discount," and select "Set as default."
Repeat the same operation for the "Estimate design" and "Invoice design" sections.
Next, you need to acquire your Logo. It's very simple, go to:
Folder / Parameters / Company, then click on the Logo tab
In the left window, click "Import an image" and navigate to find the desired logo.
(A little tip, just go to your logo in the Windows Explorer, right-click (or Ctrl C) on it, come back to Ciel, and paste the image, and it’s done)
That's it, it’s finished.
Bye

Hello Karine
I'm in exactly the same situation as you, the answer exists but CIEL only provides it to users with a support contract.
So I will keep searching and if I find any information I'll get back to you
good luck!!!

Hello!! I've been creating quotes with Ciel Quotes and Invoices for about a year and a half and now I've switched to a new software called EBP Quotes and Invoicing... I had placed a logo on the quotes and invoices in the templates section with Ciel, but now I have no idea how to do it with EBP. Could you please help me? Thank you very much.
Have a good evening!!!

Hello everyone
For the BP quotes and invoicing, you need to go to the tools menu, then options, and there you can set all the data present on the quotes/invoices... logo, name, address, etc. I struggled a bit to find it in their software. See you later!

Hi!
I just bought Sky Solution 2009 and I've been working on it all day to try to make something happen!!
I went into the parameter settings and duplicated then created a complete estimate from a blank page. My issue is that I can't get it to display so I can work directly on it. Even after setting it as a preference, nothing works... I really don't know what else to do!
If anyone has a solution..... Thanks in advance!

Hello Mat,
Tell me, you seem quite knowledgeable about the Ciel commercial management software!
Is it possible for us to get in touch because I'm just starting with this software since we’ve just created a business, and I admit that it's pretty tough to use!
I have managed to do some things, which I will explain to you later in detail, but what I’ve managed to do doesn’t always show up!
I know, my story is quite vague, which is why it would be useful for us to get in touch, if you don’t mind!
Thank you in advance!
Looking forward to hearing from you, best regards.

Hello,
I'm working on Ciel Commercial Management. The person I'm replacing has already configured the software, and I just need to modify the email address in the invoice header.
Unfortunately, I can't find the "pre-configured invoice file."
I tried "option => Configurable report," but that gives me blank invoices.
What should I do?
Thank you in advance^^

Hello,
I would like to know how to change a header on an invoice because it doesn't suit me at all. I want to change the font size, the writing style, etc., but I can't manage it.
What should I do???

Hello, I don't have any options or configurable settings, or maybe I'm just not able to find them. Where are they? How do I do it? Helpppppppppppp!
Hello, good morning to you. Ah yes, I see, 2 problems in 1 (see response to the other request).
If your software is compliant, you can ask for help on the site below.
If not, address yourself instead on the "software" forum of CCM which will be more suited to your question.
I'm sorry I can't help you more, but your version is not downloadable for free, so there's no way to test it to assist you.
Good luck in your search.

I have the same issue with Ciel invoices in the list of states; I checked by default: invoice with shadowed background and logo (after duplicating it), but I haven't entered any documents yet and therefore cannot start entering... I tried to invoice a client, but I have a non-compliant template without a logo, while my templates on the left are correct.... help me, I don't have direct connections through the accounting PC, so I don't have all the contextual assistance.........................................................................ON THE OTHER HAND, EVERYTHING IS FINE ON CIEL COMPTA2003 if needed...
Thank you very much
Karine
I followed your procedure. It was working very well until I wanted to set my own format as the default format. Now I can't create an invoice, a window appears saying that the state does not exist.
Do you have any idea? Thanks.
