Hello,
I am using CIEL Commercial Management and since yesterday, I have been getting the following error message: "Error - storage module" "unable to open the file CIEL\WGC\FORM999m.ifs"
I can no longer access the previously saved data. Do you know the reason and the solution?

Hello,
This message appears following a crash because one or more sound files were left open in memory.
You need to delete the *.ifs files from the WGC directory without including the subdirectories.
Then, you copy the *.ifs files from the IFSSAV directory located in WGC and paste them into the WGC directory.
Restart and it should work.

My problem is as follows with CIEL quotes invoices.
When I want to back up my company, I get the following message: Error: Access denied [0x00000005], but with the demo company I can do it??!
After several searches on the web, it remains a problem for me, despite the admin checks.

I wanted to create a new folder in CIEL COMMERCIAL, I followed all the steps it asked me to, then the software completes its installation. However, when I tried to open the new folder by selecting FILE OPEN, it says that the folder is not created
By directly accessing the CIEL data, I find the new folder created and when I double-click to open it, CIEL goes through the installation process again, as if it were the first time
Please help me

While trying to manipulate the *.ifs files, I accidentally deleted the contents of 'IFSSAVE".
I'm using Ciel evolution 3.0 network version.
If someone could provide me with the files contained in this folder, I would greatly appreciate it.
Before this stupid mistake, I had copied the .ifs files from WGC into a folder, but since those were the ones that needed to be deleted.
Just in case, it could help me fix my blunder.

THE ONLY GOOD ADVICE TO GIVE YOU!
Before making the described manipulations - be sure to make a complete copy of the directory very simply via the file explorer.
If you do not know how to perform this simple manipulation - you should not insist on trying to fix the problem yourself because your current level of competence is insufficient - therefore, get help from someone who has the ability.

Having seen your knowledge of Ciel commercial management on this forum, I would like to share a problem I am encountering with Ciel, which I have been using for 7 years. During the export to Ciel Accounting, and after generating the entries, the journals do not export (the general ledger and the balance sheet are fine). I am trying to import through Ciel Accounting, but it indicates that the source file does not exist.

Given that you are using Ciel Gestion and Ciel Compta, I would like to share my problem: I spend A LOT of time checking the exports in Ciel Compta because none of the titles are correct and the deposits are part of the export even though I don't want them. I did the same manipulation yesterday (at least I think so) without it working. I followed your advice and did a delete - paste, and now it works without any error message. However, the document generator is no longer showing and my invoice template has disappeared.

To access the gene doc, you need to click on the window menu and select "switch to complete mode".
It's normal that you no longer have models; the original models are located in the sav folder.
If you want to recover yours, create a new company and restore an old backup. The models being common to all folders will be retrieved in yours.

Following the evolution of a customer's machine, I made a duplicate of the old hard drive that was starting to wear out onto the new one.
Only Ciel Gestion Commerciale v.7.10 is giving me a problem.
I get the message:

I experienced the same issue in July (I swear I didn't do it on purpose), I followed the same advice but this time I don’t have a folder in iffsav. This now results in me losing the color in the columns and when I want to create a quote or an order, the amounts are displayed in "frs". I also no longer have the panels in the left column.

If you don't have the ifs sav folder, as indicated in the procedure, you need to delete the *.ifs files from the wgc directory. Then, using the installation CD-ROM, perform a custom installation by checking the 32-bit program options and predefined formats.
The ifssav folder has only appeared since version 8.
For Chooky's message, make sure the files are not read-only.
If it doesn't work, you'll need the installation CD.

If you really don't have any IFS files in C/CIEL/WGC, just copy those in the IFSSAV folder and paste them into WGC.
