Currently, the billing address takes the delivery address, but when they are different, I would like Ciel to correctly use the billing address in the header of the invoices

To reset the invoices to zero, go to the folder, parameters.

For your case, you can "purge" a piece, i.e., delete it, and then recreate it later. To do this, go to Processing Purge and select ONE piece, the one you want to purge, either from the client pieces or from the supplier, etc. You confirm everything and your piece is deleted.

To reset the numbers to zero, this is done in the folder menu under the settings tab, pieces code. This is only possible if the numbers are not used.
To modify a document, this is done via the document generator in the folder menu, document generator after displaying the list of invoices.

On CIEL GESTION COMMERCIALE 2008, I am trying to calculate the stock turnover ratio of an item.
Strangely, this is not included in the article statistics.
So I need to calculate the average stock = (starting stock + ending stock) / 2.
The ending stock is the actual stock, but how do I obtain the starting stock (the stock at a given date: at the last inventory, for example).
After that, once we have the data, it’s simple (starting stock for the period, average stock, consumption for the period = quantities sold)
you just need to divide either the consumption by the starting stock or the consumption by the average stock.
If anyone has a solution to offer... thanks in advance.

Indeed, I have customized invoice headers that I would like to retrieve but it's impossible. Even after making a backup and restoring, it doesn't work. I can retrieve all my invoices and quotes, but not the personal parameters. What should I do?

following a move, I lost the original CDs of Ciel Gestion Commerciale and Ciel Paye; My PC is getting old and I would like to make an image of the hard drive. Before doing that, I tried plugging my PC's hard drive (with an external enclosure) into my laptop, but I can't launch the Ciel programs. My PC has XP Pro and my laptop has XP Home, could this be the reason why it's not working? It is still incredible that all my other software works, Ciel is really a headache. Thank you for your help.

I recently resumed an activity and several products were not listed in the "overstock editing by item" (compared to the actual stock), Ciel is being used on W98, we will fix this in a few days, but I suspect that someone is tampering with invoices simply by deleting them when the payment is made in cash. There are gaps, disappearances: e.g. FB8884, FB8885, FB8889, FB8892, FB8893, FB8894... I am told that it's normal, that Ciel under W98 logs numbers randomly and since the stock inventory needs to be redone, it's very easy to... .

At first, I changed the date on the computer and... it works, but it's not practical.
The other solution (on my computer and with version 11 of Ciel)
The steps to follow:
Control Panel
Choose the disk where the Ciel software is located
Go to Ciel
You should find the folder named: Download
In this folder, there are 2 files, one of which is named Ticket
Right click on it
Open with: Notepad
In this file, on the expiration line, we find the date 2007-12-31
I just changed the year to 2020...
Close the file and save the changes.
As a precaution, I restarted the computer.

Ciel has changed the address of the .xml file, it's a shame, it's forcing the purchase of their maintenance by intentionally causing the software to break!!! It's a form of theft!!!
So:
Go to the registry (Start Menu then Run and type regedit then OK)
Go to the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sage\Ciel\WGC double click on the TicketServer key and replace "http://www.ciel.com/ticket/wg/ticket.xml" with "http://www.ciel.com/ticket/wgc/ticket.xml" (They changed WG to WGC)
In some versions the key may be elsewhere, in which case do a search in the registry for "ciel.com/ticket"
If it still doesn’t work you can maybe try replacing WG with WGE (evolution version I think).
Hoping that it works for you, for me everything is back in order.
