newline in C language Solved

Hello, I need some help please because I have a problem when I want to insert a line break with codeblock on Ubuntu 9.10. Thank you for your help.   Configuration: Linux / Firefox 3.5.9

Thank you for replying so quickly, I would like it to be that simple, but look:

line1 printf("hello how are you/n")
and when I compile and execute it, it gives me
hello how are you/n
and it doesn't create a new line.

Are you using Code::Blocks correctly for compilation, version, ...?
Do you have a C project created? (I don't use it).

Hello,  To display a line break with a "high-level" function like printf, you need to use 
. Otherwise, it depends on your OS. On Windows, it will be 
.  If you want a line ending after a sentence, you can simply use the puts function. For example: puts("coucou"); will jump to a new line after "coucou".   ... printf("re"); return 0; }  Be careful, you need to flush the screen buffer before doing return 0; Either explicitly with fflush(stdout), or by putting a line break ("
