For a week, I have been receiving 6 to 7 emails per day from this sender postmaster@mail.hotmail.com with the subject Delivery Status Notification (Failure)?  and messages in English: This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.  Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server.  informacion@programaseuropeos-malaga.com   as well as attachments that I do not open!! And since then, some of my contacts have received messages in English that I did not send  Dear friend:  I would like to introduce an electronic company. Their products are of high quality and low price. If you want to do business, they can offer you the most reasonable discount to make you get more profits.   Please visit our website: www.joibuy.com   Mail: joibuy@188.com  MSN: joibuy@hotmail.com    Their main products include phones, PSPs, display TVs, notebooks, videos, computers, MP4s, GPS devices, Xbox 360s, digital cameras, and so on.    Does anyone have an idea of what this is? And how to avoid this kind of message? Thank you.

Hello,  The messages from the postmaster are automatic replies to emails sent from your machine to invalid email addresses.  For example, instead of sending to toto@titi.fr, you mistakenly send to toti@titi.fr, which does not exist, and you will receive an automatic response with the email sent attached.  As for the other email, it is SPAM sent directly from your PC, which must be infected with adware, spyware, etc. This is, of course, dangerous for the recipients who could get infected by opening any attachments in those emails.  I recommend using a disinfecting software like Spybot or A², for instance; they are very effective for this type of infection.

Ok, thanks for your response, but the problem is that I'm not sending any emails. Could it be that my messaging is sending messages to invalid email addresses on its own? That's why I would be getting these return messages?

Yes, this is called SPAM. Through a malicious program on the computer, it turns into a "zombie" PC and sends emails to an enormous number of users using your address book or a mailing list that it already had from the start.  You need to disinfect your PC to address this problem.

This is not a response, but I have the same problem. Delivery status notification (failure) and my addresses are correct, as the following message goes through. In any case, my addresses are saved, so I can't be wrong.
