Hello,

I ordered an item a month ago on eBay. It was shipped on December 7 with the tracking number: RR822580241CN

I went to check on this site https://track-chinapost.com/francais.html/ to see where it was. It shows me: Status Passed China Customs Destination BELGIUM Last location Beijing International Airport Date 2010-12-09

Has my package left China or is it still in China?
I also contacted the Belgian postal service, which indicated that it had no trace of the package in Belgium...

I am really starting to worry that it might have gotten lost along the way :/

PS: I apologize if I chose the wrong forum to ask my question.

Hello,

It takes over a month to arrive because all packages from China are shipped by boat.
I ordered a pair of boots on 03/12/2010 (thinking I was ordering from Australia), got a dispatch message on 13/12... etc., and yesterday I went back to the EMS site and saw it arrived in Belgium on 18/01 and entered customs on 18/01 and cleared customs on 21/01, and I received my package yesterday on 24/01/11.
The package was opened by customs and I was worried because I thought I had bought a counterfeit, but no, they're real...............10 euros in customs fees.

So don't worry, you should count on a good month before your package arrives, but watch out for customs!!!

https://track-chinapost.com/francais.html/ is not a fraudulent site; I use it for all my tracking from China.

It seems that your package is a) actually lost, or b) that China Post is delayed in updating their tracking, and you should receive your package in the coming days.

The tracking indicates that your package is still at Beijing airport, and has been since December 9th.

In any case, contact your eBay seller who can in turn inquire about your package.

The site mentioned in the question is probably a fake site (??). Normally, customs clearance is done in the destination country..
This thing seems shady..

It's clear, we all agree... it's long... but that's how it is... and just a little clarification, your package in Rx123456789CN is an air mail package and not a maritime one (by ship) otherwise it wouldn't be at your place in 2 or 3 months!!!

It's a CHINA POST package (Rx123456789CN), otherwise EMS is usually in the form Ex123456789CN, you can see all the shipping details from CHINA to the world here http://www.colis-chine.fr/ with deadlines and little tips...

I ordered on the Aliexpress website on November 13, 2014, and still haven't received anything..
When I search for the package on the China Post AirMail site (tracking number: RH084200692CN), they tell me:

  For your information, the tracking numbers that start with R and end with CN are the numbers for postal tracking in China.
  It is advisable to avoid carriers like EMS, UPS, or others that necessarily go through customs as they compile an import file, and you then have to pay the tax + VAT... and they also take their commission in the process. One is not better served; this should be left to the companies.
  Through China Post airmail, it takes longer but is free, and small packages are rarely taxed upon importation.

  No. Likely confiscation, it's best to stay low-key and be glad not to have received a fine. For very small quantities, customs doesn't bother to contact the recipient and does not impose penalties. If there is a significant quantity, there is a summons and negative consequences.

    If the status on the postal website says "Departure China (REP.POP) (CN)", it means it is already on the plane to France but since you likely chose the free shipping, it will take time to be processed at Roissy since you didn't pay. Whereas if you had chosen EMS, it would have been handled directly by Chronopost, so just be patient. ;)

Don't worry, I received it at the end of January when I ordered it at the beginning of December, the package came by boat so the delays were much longer.
And then it goes through Belgian customs to see if there are no counterfeits and 10 euros to pay at the post office, but on the tracking site you can follow your package, it will stay in Beijing for a long time and then you will see it in Belgium all at once, so be patient!!!

Hello, I am not in the same situation; I have another problem. I made a purchase on iOffer on January 10 for 2 pairs of shoes, one pair black and one pair white. I received my order on January 15, but by mistake, the person sent me 2 black pairs, so I sent him an email to tell him that I was not happy. He asked me if I could send him one black pair back so that he could send me a white one. Therefore, I sent the pair back on January 15, the same day I received my package. I then asked him if he could start sending me my white pair since I provided him with the shipping number, etc. He replied that he would send my shoes once he received the pair I sent him (which makes sense).
So, he received his pair 13 days later, on January 28, 2015. I sent him an email, and he confirmed that he received it. The next day, he sent me my tracking number, and when I tracked it on "17track" for package tracking, it states that he sent the shoes on January 16, which seems very strange to me!!! One day after I sent his pair, and now we are on February 27, and my so-called package is still at the same location in GUANGZHOU, stuck since January 16, and today is February 27, 2015. So, I think either the guy is fooling me and hasn't sent it, or he gave me a fake tracking number, or he actually sent it the day after I sent mine but didn't want to give me the tracking number until he received his (which I highly doubt). But my package has been at the same point since January 16!!!!!!

  If the purchase is recent, that's normal. Sellers request and obtain tracking labels electronically to put on their packages.
  
  Trackings are only active when the packages are received by the carrier and scanned. In any case, it doesn't go fast... Another possibility: bogus number.
