USB WiFi key compatible with Windows 7 x64

Hello,
I am looking for a WiFi key compatible with my setup. Let me summarize my problem:
I cannot connect to the internet with the NETGEAR WN111v2 (USB WiFi adapter) on my computer running Windows 7 Pro x64; I have tried all the drivers I could find online, but no networks are detected (whereas on my sister's computer next door running Windows XP Home (32 bits), it connects perfectly with this key and detects plenty of available networks). The Netgear software is unusable: at best it runs for two seconds before closing. Switching between compatibility modes doesn’t resolve anything. In short, the key is INCOMPATIBLE with my system or hardware (I have seen on another forum issues of compatibility between the WiFi key and the ASUS motherboard with an Intel processor).

My setup:
- Motherboard ASUS P7P55D
- Processor Intel Core i5-750 LGA1156 (quad; 2.66GHz; cache 8MB)
- KST MEMORY DDR3 2X2GB 1333MHz CL9
- Hard drive: WD 500GB SATA300
- Windows 7 Professional 64 bits
- ATI Radeon HD5770
I would like to point out that my computer works perfectly (without internet obviously) as long as the WN111v2 key is not connected.

I checked the Netgear website, and the WG111v3 is said to be 'ideal for Livebox', which is great since I'm with Orange, but the software provided with this key seems to be the same as that of the WN111v2... You understand that I don’t want to get ripped off twice and this time I want to be sure that the new WiFi key I buy is compatible.
I looked at the D-Link site, and the DWA-125 and DWA-131 seem pretty good.

So I am about to buy a USB WiFi key compatible with my setup. I would appreciate your advice.
Best regards.

I'm sorry, I've already installed this driver time and time again without success. There is no solution with this dongle; I've already looked on other forums, and people who have this problem have either changed their WiFi hardware or reverted to Vista. I love Windows 7, I don't want to change my operating system. It's been a few months since the release of Windows 7; there must be some USB WiFi dongles that are compatible. Which dongles do you recommend and why? I would like to know your opinion.
