Hello,
I have an NVIDIA Geforce G210 graphics card, and when I installed it in the computer, it crashed sometimes, especially when I was playing, and the error it describes is that the graphics driver has stopped working, often even bad driver. Yet I downloaded it from the NVIDIA website.
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows 7 Safari 531.21.10

Hi Tiny23,

to update "DirectX"
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

for detecting the right drivers and downloading them
* https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=29
and click on "Launch detection" (at the bottom of the window)
accept the ActiveX control
let it run and a page will display with blue files
by clicking on the link, you will download the right drivers (the latest version)
- first make sure the motherboard chipsets are installed
- restart the search to finish
- if a chipset is poorly installed, you have a file for the rest that is not correct or does not appear

no, it is a 32-bit. I was also wondering if it is not my hardware specifications that are the cause. Here they are:

Windows seven 32 bits
1000 GB hard drive
1 GB of RAM
Nvidia Geforce G210 graphics card

what matters most is the video chipset of the motherboard
and the GPU you install on it

and not installing little extras like software, such as Catalyst, for an NVidia GeForce

I don't think I have installed any little extras like software.

I am downloading a driver for the chipset of my motherboard. I was able to see its description thanks to the EVEREST software. It's an nVIDIA nForce 7050-630i. Additionally, I came across documentation on this very site regarding BIOS flashing:

https://www.commentcamarche.net/contents/1018-flasher-le-bios

In the subtitle "Why flash the BIOS?", I saw that it can be done for support of new hardware, but I also know that this process is dangerous if not done correctly (I lost a PC like that, I had to return it to the store and they kindly took it back and replaced it with the one I currently have, a FUJITSU-SIEMENS.)

Hi,

you shouldn't flash the BIOS for the moment, there are other drivers to try and from what I've seen on the Fujitsu site, you're on the right track with the nForce 7050-630i.

OK that relieves me in that case.

And what if I switched to 64 bits?

It's him that I just downloaded and installed, and it's still the same, it crashes from time to time, yet the graphics card is new and it works well on another PC, on the PC where it was originally installed.

Is your PC a Fujitsu Siemens? Post this number here to identify the model of the PC.

Hi Pepito,

I've gotten used to searching according to the PC models :-)

Most of the cards are built on a very specific model.

What we don't know is whether the graphics card is original or if he installed it himself.

Hi Pepito, I'm the one who installed the graphics card, it didn't come with the PC.

Hi,
yes, I saw your first post...
didn't you get a CD with this card? have you had bugs since the first installation?
what is the brand of this card? did you disable the integrated graphics chipset on the motherboard?
0
Tiny23 Posted messages 243 Status Member

No, no CD, and yes, I've had bugs since the first installation. As for disabling the onboard graphics chipset, I don't know because when I installed the card, I just had to install the driver, so I'm not sure if I disabled the motherboard's chipset or not. My card is an NVIDIA GeForce G210.

it's useless since you've taken the graphics card from another PC.

What I can give you is the driver for the integrated graphics chip >>> click here <<<

What do you mean by "it's pointless since you got the graphics card from another PC"? I'm going to try this driver.

I meant to say that if the graphics card was original for a Fujitsu Siemens PC, we should have found the driver on the manufacturer's website (Fujitsu Siemens), but that's not the case. So the number you gave me is useless for doing research.

Have you tried manually installing the driver that pepito10 suggested?

Tiny23 Posted messages 243 Status Member

ah OK. Yes, I tried the driver that Pépito advised me to take and there's an improvement since the PC runs for much longer before crashing (strange).

Yes, but doesn't it have a brand? For example: PNY, MSI, Leadtek, XFX..........

Yes, it must be an MSI card, but let's wait for confirmation ;)

I don't understand. Which brand are you talking about?
