Unable to connect to NVIDIA

Good evening,

I recently tried to log into NVIDIA Geforce Experience for various reasons, particularly to update the graphics driver. Obviously, since I'm here, it didn't work, and I don't really understand why because it happened overnight.

I didn't perform any particular installation in between, no error messages or anything else appeared. That said, I also noticed that I cannot log onto the NVIDIA website.

There are some tips and tricks here and there on the internet to try to resolve it, but I'm stuck because for at least one step, I either don't have the file or don't have the service.

Above is what I see in Geforce Experience

Here are the only services available in Windows Services.msc

And finally here is the error when trying to connect to the site allowing access to NVIDIA (I clarify because I can access the rest of the site but without being logged in)

Knowing that I have already performed a system restore to a point prior to the problem, that I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the contents of the NVIDIA Corporation and Geforce Experience files in the Program Files, and that I also tried to install the graphics driver separately from the NVIDIA website.

It's not urgent, but it is bothersome; if you have any ideas, I'm all ears because I'm a bit stuck at this point.

Thank you in advance!

      Hello,

I tried your link, I had already done it but I repeated it and it didn't change anything, it updated the driver but that's all.

      And my antivirus is Norton.

It is possible that Norton is blocking NVIDIA, add GeForce Experience and the NVIDIA site to the Norton exceptions.

        Hi,

So Norton wasn't blocking access to NVIDIA or Geforce.

That said, I found something strange. Until now, I was connected to a 4G network via my phone, which was acting as an internet box. And yesterday, I connected to a real internet box at a family member's place, using fiber, and now I can connect and use Geforce Experience.

I already knew that setting the network to public or private changed something, but both are on the same setting, so I don't understand.

The thing is, of course, I'm not going to stay on this box forever, so I'll do what I can, but it doesn't solve the initial issue.

        That's where I'm at.

It seems that your 4G network IP is blacklisted. Install a free version of a VPN on your PC, such as https://www.kaspersky.fr/vpn-secure-connection, see the bottom of the page for the free version.
Then connect via your phone using tethering, activate the VPN; if it works, it's the IP that's blocked, and in that case, notify your mobile operator.
