Canon EOS 400D ignition problem

Hello,
I have had a Canon EOS 400D for 2 years and have never encountered any problems until today. My device refuses to turn on; when I switch it to on, no lights appear and the screen remains black. I removed the battery and charged it, and I even tried it on another device and it works. Does anyone know the source of this issue?

It's funny (so to speak) that it has been two years and two months since I bought my Canon EOS 400D and I'm having exactly the same problem. It suddenly turned off for no reason, and since then, there's been no "sign of life."

Thinking that the battery was dead, I bought a new one, but the problem persisted, still no reaction. So I called the technical service and had no choice but to get a repair estimate. They didn't give me an exact price for the estimate, but assured me it wouldn't exceed 50 euros. They cited the example of a lady who had it done for 18 euros, but that was for a different device.

I have exactly the same problem. Given the date of your message, you might have the solution.

I didn't find any solution =s. But since my device was still under warranty, I sent it back to Canon. If your warranty is still good, you should do the same.
