Canon EOS 3000 User Manual in French

Question

Hello,
I bought a Canon film camera, the Eos 3000 kit, in Italy during the World Youth Days. I would like to learn all the controls, but unfortunately, the user manual included is in Italian and English. Could someone please help me? Where can I find the manual or user guide in French? I have already tried looking online and on the Canon website, but to no avail.

The CANON EOS 3000 is easy to use without needing to have the manual; the display symbols for shooting options are clear: aperture priority, shutter speed, or, more simply in automatic mode, landscape, portrait, macro, sports, etc. However, if you don't have the basics of photography, the manual, even if properly translated into French, will be of little use. It's a bit like someone who has no knowledge of driving a car, riding a bike, or sailing a dinghy asking for the manual of the device they just received as a gift.

Salut, on m'a offert un canon eos 3000 N, mais sans la notice. J'aurais bien voulu l'exploiter à fond et comme mes connaissances sont limitées au minimum, j'aurais bien besoin du mode d'emploi aussi. Merci d'avance à ceux qui pourraient me répondre.

To help you out, I only found the manual for the EOS 300V, but it looks very similar:

Maybe by contacting them, you can get the manual...

The LCD is not in the same place and some functions like the depth of field test are missing on the 3000, otherwise the ergonomics are the same.

Hello everyone,

Go check out the website www.eos-numerique.com. There is, if I'm not mistaken, a section called "Downloads."
After registering on the site, you will be able to download the available manuals.

There is also the site www.mesnotices.fr, but there I can't guarantee the presence of the precious manual. But it might help others.

I just read your message and I have a film camera, Canon EOS 3000, bought in 2001, and I believed I had lost the manual, but I just found it. How can I help you? I can't really see myself photocopying the brochure... so I don't have a solution.
