Hello,

I’m in a bind and I don’t know what to do! Since yesterday evening, when I try to open Outlook I get this message:

===
Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. XML data is incorrect. Cannot load the view.
===

Could a kind soul tell me if there is a solution PLEASE?

Also, is it possible to back up all Outlook 2007 data (address book, calendar, accounts, messages) without opening Outlook?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello,
    I’ve finally found a solution...
    you open a command line: run...cmd
    a black DOS window opens:
    you go to the root of the directory... "type cmd" several times to get only the line
    c:\>
    then you type cd program files
    you get c:\>program files
    then "cd microsoft office"
    then "cd office12" or "cd office11" (to know, type "dir" first, and you’ll see the folder name.
    there you are in the folder that contains the program outlook.exe ,
    you then type "outlook.exe /resetnavpane"....
    and That restores the Outlook startup page :)

    Good luck !
