Startup problem

Hello

I built a PC completely and I have had a startup error from the beginning.

I’m running Windows 11 64-bit.

Here's the issue:

At each startup, my PC only recognizes one hard drive, C, and not the other 3 I have in addition. At each startup I have to press the PC power button, unplug the power cord from the back, then plug it back in and then my PC starts normally.

I thought maybe the motherboard battery was defective, so I bought an identical one and then the PC wouldn’t turn on at all, so I put the old battery back and it started again with the same problem.

I use Easy Driver once a week to stay up to date on drivers.

The hard drives are not recognized in a strange way with all the software I use like Easy Driver or with the All Drivers app; it shows generic USB SD readers instead of the names of my hard drives.

Only Hard Disk Sentinel 6.0 correctly shows the name: 3 Samsung MZ7LM1T9HJM-00005 2TB

Do you have an idea?

    Hello,


    Do a Clear CMOS to see if it helps...

    1. Unplug the power.

    2. Remove the CR2032 battery

    3. Check if you have a jumper on pins with CLR_CMOS or CLRTC written next to them

    If it is there with 3 pins, move it to the other pins X X O > O X X for at least 10 seconds.

    If you don’t have it, simply short the two pins with a screwdriver or another metal object for at least 10 seconds to discharge the capacitors.

    Sometimes shorting the two contacts of the battery holder can do the same thing.

    4. Put the jumper back as it was before, or stop shorting.

    5. Reinstall the battery.

    6. Reconnect the power.

    7. Start the PC.

    8. Reconfigure the BIOS

    And, have you checked all your SSDs / drives with CrystalDiskInfo?

    Thank you for your response.

    I will perform the manipulation tomorrow, Monday.

    For my hard drives with CrystalDiskInfo they show as good between 91% and 98%


    I will reply tomorrow after my clear CMOS test

    And for the unspecified BIOS version, nor the motherboard revision, look in the bottom left corner of your motherboard and note the Rev. (Revision) (also on the site) 1.x or 1.4.
