Hello,I just bought a Sagem ITD81 HD TNT HD decoder and I have no sound on TF1 HD via the HDMI output. I would like to know if a firmware update would solve the problem.

In your device settings, can you choose the output (sometimes you need to select HDMI, SCART, YUV) and confirm?

It’s already done because I have sound in HDMI on all channels except on TF1HD, France2HD, and M6HD. It seems that the sound on these channels is in DD+.

I have the same problem, no sound on HD channels.

Apparently, you need to update, but there is no menu option to force a search for updates... Can't it be done from the USB port? But in that case, where can I find the firmware? I can't find anything on the Sagem website...

Apparently, we have to wait for a satellite update that seems never to arrive, if anyone has any information on this...

I completely agree with you, except that with this decoder, it really doesn't seem to be the case...
There's documentation online on the Sagem website, they say in it that it should update when coming out of standby... But I've tried several times, it doesn't seem to update.

Once it got stuck (the time doesn't move), I couldn't get it out of standby via the remote or through the buttons on the front, maybe it was updating, but it lasted more than 20 minutes without changing so well... I don't know what to do...

The version I have seems to be: Vx1.0.8.HDFR and the updateID: 00604C.A1.01.0108

I bought it from Boulanger, I find it shameful to sell products with firmware that's been outdated for several months. With no documentation inside, it looks like a returned item that they resell... If tomorrow the update hasn't been done automatically, I'm going back to the store and I'm going to make a scene (I got it in exchange for an essential decoder that wasn't working well either...).

I've been having the same problem for a few days! My decoder wouldn't automatically set HD to 16/9 (even though SD was set automatically, go figure why?).... Now, there's no sound, despite trying all the settings and reprogramming the channels...  I'm calling SAGEM tomorrow morning to try to get some explanations.

The HD channels I always have in full screen, so that doesn’t pose me any problems on that side. I just have an issue with the sound. I would have liked to be able to program the decoder for scheduled recordings. However, I can record the HD channels through the SCART cable with sound but in SD format. It's better than nothing.

Regarding the SAGEM ITD 81 HD decoder, there is a software version incompatibility (vx 1-0-8) following the change in the audio reception standard to Dolby Digital+ since June 1, 2009.

You need to install version vx 1-3-10 Dolby Digital+ (AC3) or even a more recent version that might have been released since then.
THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE AT THE SAGEM FACTORY.

Hello, I bought my ITD81HD at the end of May, and it did an automatic update when exiting standby a few days after purchase. But there's still very low sound on TF1HD, France 2HD ... all HD channels except ARTE HD, where it's correct. Otherwise, all sound levels have to be at maximum, both the level of the decoder and that of the television, to hear anything. Note also that no sound comes out of the RCA outputs located at the back, except for ARTE HD. Apparently, the problems with very low volume and the RCA audio output are due to the AC3 format. Just to clarify: the decoder is connected to a Samsung LCD via HDMI, my firmware version is 1.3.18HD. Come on, SAGEM team, find a way to solve this problem so that we can use your products. Your lack of responsiveness and apparent laxity (as seen from all these messages on this post) do not encourage us to buy French products, what a pity... In the meantime, good luck to all the buyers of this product... Cheers.

Hello everyone,
I just picked up my Sagem decoder from my distributor's service center.

I plugged it in and......
it's working perfectly: finally HD sound, normal amplitude and quality sound, a nice picture, and a completely changed interface; even the full-screen adjustment is done automatically!

Thank you Sagem.... but it was so long and laborious; fortunately, I was still under warranty.

So, if you don't have sound with an ID 81 HD, there's only one solution: send it back to Sagem!
