Hello,
I have an issue with my Astra reception. I've correctly connected my Sagem ISD74 decoder to my antenna, but I never get more than 70% on the signal level and 68% on the quality. Even the slightest rain causes the image and sound to stutter until there's nothing at all.
I would like to know how to improve the reception, whether I should buy a satellite splitter or something else to better receive the signal.
I would also like to know how to set the type of LNB and the transponder, and what all of this corresponds to.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,
I have the same device and the same signal level, but my picture is perfectly fine (no image dropouts).
Check the connections to the satellite dish and the decoder, as well as any extension connections.
Also, try to avoid unnecessary cable lengths as much as possible. Keep it as short as possible without multiplying the connections.
Good luck, as I know we often don't have much choice when it comes to cable length...
Additionally, the head of the satellite dish should be slightly tilted (6°) to the right when looking at the dish from the front, once the dish is well aligned with the satellite.
