actually, I signed up yesterday on the Badoo site because I received an invitation from a friend

but I want to delete my account

I deleted my account but I still haven't received a confirmation email for the deletion?

what should I do please?

Hello,

To delete your profile, go to Badoo, navigate to your profile and go to
Settings. On your left, you will find the link "Delete my
profile". Click on it and follow the instructions. Your profile with
all its information and photos will be deleted in the following days.

You will receive an email allowing you to recover your profile in case you change
your mind. You have 30 days for that. It is therefore important that you do
not lose or delete this email as it contains the code that will allow you to reopen
your account.

P.S.: You need your password to delete your
profile. In case you have lost your password, go to our homepage (if your session is
open, remember to log out).
Click on "Log in" at the top right and then, once on the
login page, click on "forgot password?". Enter
the address you used during registration and click on "Receive a new password".
Once you have received our email in your inbox
(also check your Spam), open it and click on the
link "Receive a new password". You will then have the
possibility to create a new password. Once the process
is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

My email may have been a bit direct, but the response seems to shed light on how the site works, even though it remains vague... Should I understand that the data is deleted from the servers after 30 days, or is it simply made inaccessible? In any case, my main goal being that my profile is no longer accessible, I am fairly satisfied.
It's a shame that this information is not sufficiently accessible on this site (but also many, many others).

I unsubscribed from Badoo by clicking on: Profile deleted and it was indeed deleted.
In fact, that's what one might believe... Because even though it's deleted, the profile remains, only we can no longer use it.
I signed up again with another profile and came across my first profile... Incredible, my photos, my comments, everything is there. Ultimately, Badoo keeps the profile...

I had a hard time deleting my profile because during registration you have to provide a password... which Badoo then refused.
But I received an email with another password that Badoo accepts... that's why I couldn't delete it... then it worked... I'll see in 7 days if my profile has really disappeared, because the problem is Badoo remembers my email address without asking for my permission.

The best thing to do is to send a complaint via "contact us"

Hello, I also wanted to delete my Badoo account because it came from a so-called friend that I didn't know!!!!!!!
The easiest way is to go to SETTINGS, then MY PROFILE, and there is a small phrase "DELETE MY PROFILE"
click on it
a page will display with a request for the password, type in the password and answer the question "why leave Badoo"
CONFIRM
once that's done, a page will display with a "regret" message from Badoo.

It is also possible, if you kept it or received an email from a "friend" from Badoo, to read this email and look at the bottom where there is a phrase indicating that if you are not the one who made this request, you can "click here" to delete the profile (this phrase is mandatory according to legislation)

I did it, and there is a page that opens on Badoo offering two options, namely
"get in touch with Badoo members" or "block emails," and it is specified in this second option that it is not recommended to do it.......
but it's better not to pay attention to that!
So, I clicked on "block emails," which opened the Badoo homepage for me, and that was it.

Then, shortly after, I received an email confirming that within 7 days, I would see my profile deleted and that in the meantime, no one could access it anymore.

This is still the best solution because after 7 days, you just need to mark Badoo as "junk mail".....

I deleted my account at the end of 2009. Today, my wife comes across my photo at the top of the site; the photos that scroll there! I don't think you'll receive a confirmation email. I haven't received one anyway; and months later, I just come across my photo weirdly; it's inactive but it annoys me to see it there! I can't manage to delete it! Good luck.

All I can say is that this site is really crappy and not honest at all. Even after deleting my account, I still receive messages from Badoo telling me that people have sent me messages or want to contact me and often saying that I was online a few minutes ago! It's truly shocking and degrading! Moreover, it's Google that takes over by displaying my photo with comments completely contrary to the idea I had set for myself on Badoo! This is really unprofessional. If anyone could tell me how to completely remove my profile from Badoo and even from Google or tell me if I should take legal action against Badoo and Google because both have seriously tarnished my image on the internet. Thank you for your responses.
