Hello,

My AKAI VS-G731 VCR is stuck; I can no longer play cassettes; as soon as I switch to playback mode, a key appears on the television and blocks playback. I think it might be a parental lock that I was unaware of until my son pressed one or more buttons on the remote control. If you know how to unlock my VCR, I would be very grateful, and the kids would be too, especially.

    For this model, the principle is usually the same; you need to press the play button on the remote control for 8 seconds.

    It works only with the play button on the remote control, not the VCR.
