Freebox and grounding

Hello,

I just realized that my electrical outlets are not grounded...
So I just learned that there is a risk to health and to my equipment (computer, fridge, etc., etc.)

But I have a question:

If my Freebox (modem and TV decoder) were plugged into a grounded outlet, would my internet connection improve?

I'm asking this question because my guitar amp and my speakers for the computer have a hum and a crackling sound, a "noise" due to the lack of a grounding connection...

Thank you!
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.8

Regarding the humming... it may be a 50Hz leak that passes through the amplifier and therefore ends up in the speakers. One solution is to connect the metallic grounds of the computer (the chassis) to that of the amplifier with a wire.

Good evening,
No, a Freebox is a class 2 device (electric protection, double insulation of active parts (functional and material insulation, no grounding of metal parts), a ground connection would not improve your internet connection in any way.
However, for the protection of individuals, no ground connection = danger!

A ground connection is unnecessary on a Class 2 appliance even if the wall outlet has a ground; it does not put people at greater or lesser risk, come on.

-- Hello, are you renting? If so, your landlord is obliged to ensure that your electrical installation complies with regulations (which is not the case at your place); if you are the owner, be careful because in case of fire, if your installation is not compliant, insurers will not reimburse you.
To be born, to die, and to be reborn endlessly!! Such is the law..
