No phone line to connect my Freebox

Hello,
I just received my Freebox, but when I went to plug it in, I realized that there is no necessary socket in my apartment. I have neither a standard phone socket nor an RJ45. Instead, I have an ETC socket (or coaxial, I haven't figured out what it's really called yet) consisting of a wall socket with two screw sockets coming out of it. For your information, the previous tenant was with SFR.
However, when I called Orange to arrange for a socket to be installed, they told me that it wasn't their responsibility and insisted that I need to call Free so they can send a technician from Orange (who knows why), and when I call Free, they tell me to first get a line opened because without a phone socket, they can't do anything. In short, no one seems to want to help me, and I'm a bit lost on what to do next. Would it be possible to replace the socket I currently have with a phone or RJ45 socket by rewiring the cables inside the box?
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Paul

Hi,
if you have type F outlets, it's for cable or satellite, not a phone line.
To subscribe to Free, you must have provided a phone number; how did you find it?
Are you not eligible for fiber?

I searched for a number on the Free website using the name of the previous tenant, and the address of my apartment matched well, and the line was apparently active. Otherwise, I am only eligible for VDSL. What I find strange is that Free lets me go through the entire process if I wasn't eligible for anything, knowing that they check this automatically online when subscribing to the offer.

If the previous tenant was on VDSL, you must have another socket somewhere,
for your information, VDSL is better than ADSL.
Try to check with the landlord if he has any information regarding the phone line.
I think Free doesn't verify anything at the time of the offer.
Do you have a line number or not?
