Facebook: blank page Solved/Closed

Question

Hello everyone,
For the past two days, I've been unable to access Facebook.
I can get to the login page: I can enter my email address and password, but when I confirm, I end up on a completely blank page.
I have the same problem on IE and Firefox.
Is this a general issue or is it just me?
I should note that it’s the same on the other computer in the house.
So, am I the only one, and if so, should I be worried or not?

I found it, the problem is the new Facebook page with one of the external apps, there is incompatibility. You need to go to your Facebook account through a mail link (for example, a photo link). Then go to settings -> apps and delete all the apps, leaving only the original Facebook apps (links, photos, videos, events, ...). Hello everyone!

I've been having the same issue for 2 days. And like you, I can't find any solution. From my email account, I have access to some Facebook functions by following the links; otherwise, nothing at all!!!! I was wondering if it was coming from them, given that we were under the yoke of having a new homepage layout. In any case, since Friday evening I've had to do without Facebook!!!
On the same device, using another account, there are no issues and everything displays correctly. I tried the other way around, meaning logging into the "failing" profile from another device, and the result is the same.
So no solution. But if you have any ideas?????

Since Friday, I've been having the same connection problem (blank page) on FB regardless of the PC.
I can access certain things WITHOUT ENTERING MY PASSWORD via https://m.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fhome.php&refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fhome.php&_rdr

apparently this is not an isolated case.
For the past two days, I've been logging into Facebook (with my password), I have access to my profile and my friends,
but my homepage is like the Virgin Mary, that is to say, pure white.
In the first few days of the new homepage, everything was fine.
So where does the problem come from???????,
anyway, due to the fact that I have an old computer, since this new homepage, I can no longer insert photos or watch the small videos, my Explorer crashes, and I get a general white page on Facebook.
I have to say that I have Windows 98, a 4-gig hard drive (with an external one of 80 gigs).
I'm planning to buy a more recent one.

Hello, since last night, when I had to reformat my computer due to a problem, my internet connection works perfectly, the only issue is that when I log into Facebook, the homepage and the other pages except my profile page remain blank, the applications do not appear at the bottom, nor do my online friends, and it says "done". I have no access to my friends' pages or their photos; basically, I only have access to my profile.
I only encounter this problem at home; if I connect elsewhere, everything works, so I suppose it's a problem with my computer and not with Facebook.
If you have any ideas, I’m all ears; finding Facebook is not vital, but it would still be nice.

Under Firefox, log out of Facebook go to Tools > Clear my traces check everything, confirm log back into Facebook and there you go

Hello, first of all, sorry to arrive like a fish out of water x) ... But I really need your help!
So, for about a week now, I haven't been able to see the photos on Facebook in large format... I can only see them in thumbnail size, in the album for example, or when they are published and I am notified... I have installed and activated all the plugins, but nothing works... same problem. I noticed that since this issue, the characters #! have been added to the address bars of all Facebook pages. And when you remove these characters from the address, you regain the normal page but it comes back.

I have a strange problem too! My Facebook games work on other PCs, but not on mine! In fact, a blank page only appears when I click on the games! Only Dragon of Atlantis works, and nothing else, which makes no sense since Flash Player is installed correctly! The solution with Firefox is to go to the white screen and open the security settings. You need to check if your secure browsing is enabled or disabled. If it is disabled, just enable it and that's it. After that, go to your page without any problems... well, it worked for me.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM: it was truly annoying. FOR MY CASE, I SIMPLY HAD TO CLEAR THE GOOGLE CHROME HISTORY. So, click on the tool next to the star at the top right of your screen, click on history, and clear browsing data.

Hello everyone, I had the same problem. I have 2 computers, and on one of them, I couldn't access my Facebook account. Although I was logged in, I wanted to search for friends. I was directly on a blank page and all the sections I wanted to fill in were grayed out. Actually, I randomly clicked on my name and right-clicked my mouse selecting "Refresh" AND MIRACLE!! I read the 2 pages of this forum... and 1 solution (besides a Java bug) appeared that was "logical". I was not on a secure connection! (https://)
Now it’s all good

>In the top bar, click on the small triangle to the right of "home"
>Account settings
>In the menu on the left > security
>Secure browsing "disabled"? > enable it if possible...
> Save > Refresh

I don't know if I was secure before, or if the setting updated automatically, because I hadn't changed anything before the bug... strange...

Hello, I found a solution for this problem: you need to reset your internet access directly from the modem. For example, with Orange, press the On/Off button on the Livebox, then turn the Livebox back on using the same button, and wait for synchronization with the PC. And there you go, Facebook is back.
