Hello,
I need help!
I'm vainly trying to display my bank's Shortcut icon on my Desktop.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- I opened my bank's website,
- I went to its logo and clicked on it with the left button - a crossed circle then appeared,
I dragged it to the Desktop (a method I had successfully used before, except that
the shortcut in question didn’t show the actual logo but displayed the big e for
Explorer... anyway, I fixed it afterwards, and I had a shortcut for what I wanted).
- Now, I'm dragging the logo to the desktop, but it has no image, not even the "e" for Explorer; it just creates a kind of blank placeholder with some signs, and when I click on it, it gives me a blank page
containing only the bank's logo, nice, but nothing else on the page!
In short, I haven't managed to install my bank's shortcut on the Desktop.
I hope I have been clear in my explanations so that you can understand my plight!
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
When you are on your bank's website, you add the page to your favorites.
Then in your favorites list, you right-click on your bank's link => Send to => Desktop.
However, this will only work with the homepage and not with a page that requires a password.
Best regards

With a lot of delay, I want to thank you for giving me the answer that allowed me to add my bank's icon to my computer desktop.
Thanks again, your explanations were clear.
