Hello,
I just acquired a TV decoder from SFR/Le Neuf, and I would like to connect my VCR to it to record shows like I used to with the terrestrial channels. Is that possible? I've tried many connections, but my VCR no longer picks up channels. I have a small TV with only one SCART output, and my VCR has 2. Can someone help me? Thank you!

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0
I am carefully reading these messages because I am in the same situation... I only have one SCART socket on the TV... so I connected the SCART socket from the TV to the SCART socket of the Neufbox decoder... then I connected another SCART from the Neufbox decoder to the VCR (VHS)... but the problem is that on the VCR, I only have AV used for the decoder now)... no way to use AV1 and AV2... so is it still possible to continue recording or is it no longer compatible?? What connections should I make? Thank you for your help because I don't know what to do anymore!
I don't really understand the scope!
Do you have 2 SCART connectors at the back?
I suppose you can see the TV as usual?
In my opinion, having connected one SCART from the decoder to the scope, you should be able to record, BUT you can't see it because the scope isn't connected to the TV, which would require 2 SCARTs!
There are adapters available to double a SCART socket, some even have a switch button...
Otherwise, if you connect an antenna cable between the antenna out of the scope and the antenna in of the TV, you will be able to watch the tapes, but you'll need to tune a special channel for that, as the automatic switching that happens with a SCART doesn't work with an antenna cable...
Good luck,
Best regards,

Thank you for your advice, but I don't have any antenna at all... anyway, I’ll see if I can find a double socket... but I wonder if it’s an issue of incompatibility between digital and VHS??
What you need to do is record not from a channel (1, 2, 3...) but from the signal of either AV1 or AV2, depending on where you connect the SCART coming from the decoder!
Otherwise, you can also connect a SCART from the decoder to the recorder, and one from the recorder to the TV, but then you won't be able to record one channel while watching a different one...
Let me know...

My problem initially is that my VCR can't find any channels on TNT... I only have AV on the VCR, not AV1 or AV2, so I assume that's the issue... and it's probably because the TV only has one SCART socket... I won't be home until this evening, so I'll test your suggestions then, we'll see... Thank you!
