Hello,
I own an LG Full HD 1080p TV that allows me to receive digital terrestrial television (TNT). I would also like to use this screen as a computer for browsing the internet, watching movies, and especially for playing video games like Fifa11 or Trackmania.
To do this, with your help dear internet users, I would like to build a PC that I hope can be connected to the TV. I have an RGB IN (PC) port, an RS-232C IN (Control & Service) port, and an HDMI/DVI IN port behind the TV.
I would like to obtain Windows 7, 4GB of RAM, a good processor, a good graphics card with 1GB dedicated HD, a good keyboard for playing Fifa, and to know what cables I need to connect the TV to the CPU while ensuring the best possible graphical quality. I am concerned about potential latency during Fifa matches.
So, could you please enlighten me on the questions I have and advise me on the type of PC configuration that would be best suited for playing Fifa in particular, as well as the type of cabling required?
A big THANK YOU to anyone who responds to this message!

You can connect any PC to a TV screen as long as both your TV and graphics card have either a DVI or HDMI port. You can use your TV as a "main" screen, but I still recommend having a computer monitor around just in case.
Between DVI and HDMI? HDMI will be much more convenient for you than DVI because it transmits both image and sound at the same time, unlike DVI which only transmits the image.
Finally, if it's for playing games like FIFA or Trackmania, you don't need a powerful machine, so you don't need a big budget either. :p
