CONNECTING LOGITECH SPEAKERS TO A TV

Question

Hello,

I bought a Samsung LED TV (see here):

And the sound from the TV isn't great, so I bought Logitech speakers (see here):

After buying them, I plugged the green jack of my speakers into the green hole (headphone jack), I turned on the speakers, everything was well connected, and there's no sound coming from the speakers, it still comes from the TV. I went into the menu and changed it to external speakers, but it still doesn't work?

Does anyone have any idea what I could do?

The green jack is meant to connect the green output from PCs ==> so it's an input, not an output. (It serves to accompany the sound output from PCs to go with the VGA/DVI output that doesn't transmit sound)

The problem is that I can't find a photo of the back panel and the connectors, and all the reviews on Google talk about input.

If there is a headphone jack, I don’t see it in the specifications, and I find plenty of posts on forums from people who have Samsung without a headphone jack...

However, you can apparently use the two RCA outputs Right/Left (red/black or white/black) with a Male RCA to Female Stereo Jack adapter, and by setting it up as you did (EXT output)

Well apparently in this post, the guys are talking about connecting the sound to the RCA output

and since there is an option to direct the sound to EXT, it must be possible...

To test (a male RCA/female jack adapter costs less than €10 at the supermarket)
