Hello,

I bought a PS3 a month and a half ago and today it won't turn on at all!!
The day before, I played it normally and turned it off with the button at the back. However, the next day when I turn it on (the button at the back), no light comes on at the front. I can't do anything.
Thank you for your help.

In fact, you shouldn't turn off the console from the back like on a PS2, for example (and even then). It could fry your console. But if you can’t turn it back on at all, in my opinion, it’s your power supply that’s taken a hit. Since you’re under warranty, return it for service.

Hey hey everyone  I see I'm not the only one in this situation, my PS3 bought on Le Bon Coin 2 days ago worked perfectly yesterday and today nothing, no lights as if there was no power!!!! Did you get any answers about what it could be?  It was purchased on rueducommerce.com and the warranty is valid until June 27th, but they don't want to take it back because I haven't done the transfer papers for the console!!!! I'm so annoyed! I have the same issue, but I managed to remove the game by holding the eject button and turning the console on and off several times behind. So the console turns on, the fan runs loudly, then it turns off and so does the console. What should I do??

It's easy to unplug the PlayStation from the power after turning it off, then unplug the plug (in my case I have an on/off button on my power strip), then disconnect all the HDMI, LAN, Peritel, and other cables, and wait at least 2 minutes.
