Mumble won't start.

Hello,

I recently installed the Mumble voice communication software on my PC and everything is working fine
However, quite a few people are unable to launch the software
Here is the message they get when launching the program: The application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect

If anyone knows this error, thanks in advance ;)

    And here is the last problem explaining why a number of people cannot use Mumble: "The remote host closed the connection" while all the logs are correct.... I want to point out that this problem only occurs after the first reconnection following a disconnection... after that, nothing works, all subsequent reconnections will have the same error message. How to fix this problem? I want to specify that I have version 1.1.8 of Mumble.

    I am on Vista, I have tried all versions of mumble and I only made progress once when I downloaded version 1.2.0, created a certificate, and managed to connect to a server, but immediately I got an error message

    mumble has stopped working
    do you want to search for a solution to this problem
    close the program

    it has never worked again

    For me, it's the same except that when I click on it, it shows me C:\Program Files\Mumble\mumble.exe
    A reference was returned by the server. I don't know what to do; I reinstalled it and everything, but nothing..

    I'm sorry for the delay in this response, I hope this helps some people :)

    The issue actually comes from the C++ viewer, so you just need to update it. Here is the address:

    This problem is solved, but unfortunately I realize that other people cannot connect and a message says:

    Connection Timed Out:

    Sorry, here is the solution :) I just found it

    For some, version 1.1.4 causes this issue "Connection Timed Out"

    So try using version 1.1.6, the issue should fix itself :)
