Bonjour,
j'ai installé startup manager sur ubuntu hardy pour configurer mon grub mais je n'y arrive pas...
pourtant je vais dans l'onglet apparence je coche la case choisir une image d'arriere plan, je la selectionne (au format .xpm.gz) mais celà ne marche pas...j'ai même editer le menu.lst d emon grub et rajouter splashimage=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/splashimages/image.xpm.gz mais rien n'y fait, je n'ai rien...
De même pour un theme usplash je selectionne un fichier .so mais rien au demarrage, au lieu même d'avoir le theme ubuntu normal, j'ai un mode du genre console avec texte deroulant...
quelqu'un a-t-il une idee?

il te manque le paquet grub-splashimages, ouvre une console et tape:
Ensuite choisi ton image et regarde si ca marche
sudo aptitude install grub-splashimages

j'ai bien installé le paquet mais ça ne marche pas...j'ai même essayé de décommenter la ligne #splashimage=...
dans le menu.lst
je n'ai toujours pas d eplashscreen...

oui oui c'est bien ça je selectionne une image des splashimages pas d'image perso...

je reinstalle mais rien n'y fait toujours rien...
seulement a la fermeture d esession on dirait qu'il me dit no themes available in 1024*768..

essaye alors dans startupmanager >> options de démarrage de choisir différentes résolutions, par exemple 640*480
