Hello,
I just installed eMule on my PC, but when I start it, it doesn't work. (version 0.48.0.8)
I completed the setup wizard for the first launch, my ports are fine except for the UPnP ports which indicate: UPnP port mapping failed, please set up the mapping manually.
And the reception and emission arrows are in red
Could you please help me get it working
Thank you
See you soon

Hi letiziau,
To open the ports on your router ==>http://www1.emule-inside.net/?tm=1&kw=Cloud+Processing&KW1=Emule%20Dedicated%20Servers&KW2=Proxy%20Servers&KW3=Cloud%20Security&searchbox=0&domainname=0&backfill=0
it's not the same router but the interface should be the same
Do not set a fixed IP
To configure your firewall (if you have one) ==>http://www1.emule-inside.net/?tm=1&kw=Cloud+Processing&KW1=Emule%20Dedicated%20Servers&KW2=Proxy%20Servers&KW3=Cloud%20Security&searchbox=0&domainname=0&backfill=0
Update your server list:
in your mule, go to Preferences/Servers, check the first box then click edit.
Copy and paste this link into the notepad that opened:
http://www1.emule-inside.net/?tm=1&kw=Cloud+Processing&KW1=Emule%20Dedicated%20Servers&KW2=Proxy%20Servers&KW3=Cloud%20Security&searchbox=0&domainname=0&backfill=0
Click save then close the notepad and restart your mule.
As for choosing the servers, you need to select the one with the lowest ping and the most important files like razorback 3.0/3.1/eDonkey Server No. 1

Hi, I have already opened the UDP and TCP ports in a Philips but I disabled the UPnP configuration. To open your UDP and TCP ports in your modem, you type your modem's IP address (often it's http://192.168.1.1) in the internet address bar (above), not in the Google bar. Then you need to enter your credentials to access your modem's configuration (by default, it's admin for the username and admin for the password). Once you're in your modem's configuration, go to NAT and there you can open the ports for eMule. You'll see the difference in download speed. Cheers!
I'm going to which subfolder of NAT because if it's virtual server it's already done but it's not working
thank you
thank you
You need to configure your router to open the required UDP and TCP ports for eMule. The easiest way is to find DMZ in the router's configuration pages and activate it for the computer you're downloading with. To find the IP address of that computer, go to Start, Run, type cmd, and press Enter. Type ipconfig /all and press Enter. You will see the IP address.

Great
it works
I have another question: are the TCP and UDP ports for eMule necessarily 4662 and 4672?
A big thank you to everyone who replied to me
See you soon

No, those are the default ports... You can either keep those or use ports above 30,000.
