Good TCP and UDP ports for eMule Solved

Question

Hello  I have an Inventel livebox ... and I would like to know what the correct eMule TCP and UDP ports are.  I'm always on low ID when I connect to one of the servers.  Thank you for your reply

WHEN USING 1 ROUTER, YOU NEED TO ENABLE THE UPnP SETTING ON THE ROUTER. THEN, IN THE WINDOWS FIREWALL, OPEN THE UPnP EXCEPTION AND NOTE THE TCP AND UDP NUMBERS. FINALLY, IN THE EMULE CONNECTION SETTINGS, ENTER THE PORT CODES, APPLY THE SETTINGS, AND RESTART EMULE. THAT SHOULD SOLVE A GOOD NUMBER OF PROBLEMS.

Go to eMule. In the connection settings, they are provided... after that, you just have to enter them in your box and the low-id issue is resolved... generally, it's 4662 for TCP and 4672 for UDP.

I tried again this afternoon
but nothing this time, it messed everything up for me.
The eMule servers are greyed out
my internet connection via ethernet is slowing down.
In short, even uninstalling and reinstalling eMule
the servers remain grey and nothing is coming through.
I'm about to lose it
because another chat software that was super well configured, MIRC
I can't connect to it either.

Basically, I only have to format my XP
because I feel like I have nothing but problems with the network and eMule.

In your opinion, should I format for that or is there still hope?

There’s no need to format anything for emule, you just need to open the ports in your mule to your firewall and to your router if you have one, and it should normally work, say something back
