You need to open the port on your router (or your box)
and it depends on your equipment.

Hi and thanks for your response!

I have a Neuf box (the latest one)! Nothing to activate on that side!
What do you want to know about the equipment?

Hi, I have the same problem with my Neuf box... since I switched to them, I'm on low ID! (Free --> Neuf box) I think the problems come from that.
Thanks for helping me configure it; for your information, I have already opened some ports on my Neuf box.

hello I had the same issue with my live box. You need to configure the router of the live box and everything works fine.

      Hi

As soon as I know more, I'll keep you posted.
If all goes well, I should receive screenshots where everything is explained. If they arrive, I'll send them to you.

      Bye

Downloading is not illegal; it's what you download that CAN be.

    1° Install eMule
2° Launch the assistant for the first launch of eMule (tools). When you reach the port selection, BEFORE running the test, launch "configuration
    of your Neufbox".
    3° Click on network
    4° Click on NAT
5° Fill in the fields as shown in the screenshot. You will find your IP address by typing "ipconfig" in the "run" command.
6° Don't forget to save your settings.
7° Close your connection on the 9 and now perform the port test.
Also, be careful with your firewall. I use Ashampoo without any problems.
It works for me, so it should work for you too.
    Sincere regards. JP

I’m quite good with computers, but I'm stuck with my ports configured through my Livebox. I should mention that it’s the Thomson Mini Livebox, and the configuration is a mess. I'm still getting a low ID. I changed my IP address, but doing so caused the internet to stop working (we have two PCs on Wi-Fi and one via Ethernet). I need help quickly.

Another nobody dares to question the regulars. I have a livebox & on the Mule I remain on low ID. Is there a way to activate the TCP ports or something else to switch to high ID?
    Thanks in advance.

Most of the time, you need to change the default TCP and UDP ports to other port numbers.
Operators detect the default ports and prevent High ID (this is the case with non-unbundled Free, for example).
Then you need to open these ports in the box (redirect them to the IP address of the PC where the mule is, in case there are multiple PCs in your setup), also open them on any Firewall installed on this PC, and that's it...
      That's the logic.
In practice, it varies with the ISPs and the different user configurations.

I understand the principle of changing the ports and then coordinating them with the box and the possible firewall, but how is it done?

I'm on LOW ID, how can I switch to HIGH ID??
I have eMule version 48; I've been told that version 47 is better. What do you think?

Good evening, I can't activate the TCP UDP ports for eMule 0.49. I have the Freebox v.4 on Vista, my router is active, I did everything apparently, but it doesn't connect properly; it's yellow or red but not green. Thank you for the information.
      Please provide some details.

Hello, for your ports, type your gateway address in the new page, click on advanced settings, then on firewall, click on NAT-based policy, there you will find the number of your Livebox Sagem ports.

      Hi

I have mediaserv, you need to open the box ports.
      1) 198.168.1.1
      2) enter the password admin and admin
      3) network
      4) advanced settings
      5) server
      6) and you enter the emule ports.....
      7) save and it's all good

Be careful because I think they also throttle the downloads.

For the Neuf Box and Free, remember to check in security: preferences-security-check enable protocol scrambling your ISP won't see that you're connecting your mule enjoy...

same problem for me on all the versions I know of eMule, they pull the same trick on me.
At the time, I thought a triangle connection wouldn't be bad, but well, I only have an amd64 bit, thanks for replying to me.
