Hello,

I have a Windows 7
I installed eMule 0.60b x64
I had the first ports configuration window, I tried the automatic UPnP configuration but it didn't work.
My question is how to configure it in my case since I am connected to the Wi-Fi network of my student residence?

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Opera 74.0.3911.160

Hello,

If you are in student housing, I assume you do not have access to the router, so you will not be able to configure the necessary ports.

So, it's impossible to use eMule?
And if I share my mobile connection with my computer, is it the same?

Yes, it's even worse.

This doesn't stop eMule from working; it will just be slower, and you'll have to use servers that allow LowID.

Hello,
You can imagine that if everyone could hog the student network without limits, it would be a mess for everyone.
The network administrator has logically made sure to restrict any p2p mechanism. I wouldn't be surprised if the only allowed ports are those for http, https, email, and possibly ftp.
