Samsung HT-Z210 connection issue

Hello,
I bought a Samsung HT-Z210 home theater and all my connections are good, but unfortunately I can't get it to work with my television. Can someone help me? Thank you 
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    I just acquired and connected this device last night, I have a Samsung LCD; I would like to share my connections that work very well
    an HDMI cable to watch videos and especially an optical cable to listen to the TV on the home cinema
    it works very, very well

      Hello, we have the same issue with our Samsung HT-Z210 home cinema DVD player. All the connections are good, it works great with the DVD and the tuner, but nothing with the TV!
      The HDMI cable is new and properly connected, but what is the optical cable???? Is that what I'm missing to activate the sound on the TV? Thank you.

        I have the same issue as you, I was sold an "audio" cable (with the white and red ends) and nothing works!!
        Have you found the solution?? Is this optical cable; is that what you need??
