Hello,
I am looking for the wiring method for the PTT wires from the satellite dish to the receiver demodulator, exactly, from the search motor to the demod. several locations at the back of different colors. thank you

Hello
we’ve come to help you, but I don’t understand, PTT?
You have motorization for a multisatellite dish, yes but, what kind of motor, a rotor like Stab or a single-cable or multi-strand hydraulic actuator?-
Hello jpp This is a 1 parabola MULTICIEL; the motor is powered by a 7-wire tephonne cable that must be connected to the back of the demodulator, behind the parabola. There is indeed one verin (actuator) and one arm. At the back of the demodulator there are 8 slots for probably connecting the motor. Here is the list: - 2 yellow (12V 30mA max) with “mag” inscription next to it - 1 red (5V 250mA max) - 1 white (5V) with inscription (TTL) next to it - 1 green inscription GND - 1 blue -- reed - 2 black --- motor 36VDC 1A continuous 3A intermittent I hope I’ve been clear. Thanks again, best regards Enrique
- Sincerely I don’t know, nor do my entourage (antenna installer technicians) this product because for some time anything that wasn’t carried by coaxial was passing through the classic 5-conductor optical sensor, but I think you can copy the wiring on the piston side and apply it to the receiver side wiring..
As for the "12 V magn" it is not applicable to the motor, but to the magnetic polarizer, fine adjustment of the H and V polarizations) ... so it becomes easier to assign the cables while ensuring not to send the motor power +/- to the commands...The motor conductors are of larger gauge. The green is for ground ..

I have the same problem, but at my place I only have 6 slots and 4 filaments, and I only have 2 blue and two yellow.
thank you in advance -
It's delicate, because you must not feed 36 V to the controls; in general the two thicker wires are for the motor power supply... Moreover, the actuators of the old technology, now obsolete, have not been commercially supported for several years, at least in Europe...
however, look at this specialized link that deals with motor/positioner connections in motorized satellite dishes:
https://www.jechange.fr/telecom/internet
from an external satellite dish positioner, or integrated into the demodulator.
