Hello,
I am increasingly having trouble getting a signal with my mobile phone (which is 2 or 3 years old). My provider told me that it might be because my SIM card is 10 years old. I thought it could cause other problems, but not at that level. What do you think? I know I can get it changed for free, but if it's not useful, I'd prefer to avoid it since it either requires a long trip to the agency or several days without a phone. Thank you for your help.

You need to see your priorities... Taking a long trip right now and not having any problems for the next 10 years or risking losing all the information on your SIM card in a little while.

Given the waves emitted by phones and the fragility of electronics in certain cases, it would really be best to opt for a new card. Plus, you can recover your info and keep the same number.
Isn't that the good life?

Thank you for the advice. As for the number, I was assured that I would indeed keep the same one, but regarding the information, my operator told me they would not be able to restore my contacts and that I would have to reprogram them myself. That's why I'm wondering what the advantage is to changing my SIM card... I would like to get some opinions on this matter.
