About identity for SIM card purchase

Hello,

I would like to buy an SFR La Carte SIM card soon (without the phone, of course).

I would like to know if it is necessary to provide my identity to SFR (I checked with SFR, and they require a form of ID), or if it is possible to buy an SFR SIM card anonymously in a store (similar to the Universal Mobile cards sold at newsstands). Do small shops in Paris (like France GSM) ask for an ID?

      For security reasons, you cannot. Universal mobile cards require you to have previously opened an account with them. So, no anonymity, unless you have someone else buy it for you :)
