Commande configure

Bonjour,
Comment utiliser la commande configure?

j'essaie d'installer Thunderbird obtenu en .tar.gz
j'extrais en étant dans Konqueror (Mandriva)
j'ouvre un émulateur de terminal (ou konsole)
je suis dans le répertoire thunderbird, je frappe "configure" ou "./configure"

résultat
