Hello,
I have been on total unbundling with NDI since November 2006. Since April 25, 2008, my Freebox (v5) has not been synchronizing (slow flashing light). Free has offered me an appointment with a mobile technician more than 15 days after the problem started, on May 13.
Meanwhile, nothing!
I have conducted various tests to try to understand where the problem might be coming from.
1) reboot and attempt a hard reboot of the Freebox
2) 1st test of the ADSL Freebox at a neighboring total unbundled Free user => the Freebox reaches the flashing rectangle
3) 2nd test of the Freebox at another neighbor also a total unbundled Free user => the Freebox reaches the solid rectangle
4) test at my place with the Freebox from the 1st neighbor that works at his place => slow flashing light at my place
5) test with an ECI USB ADSL modem => no signal, no green light (normally, there should be a flashing green light in case of no synchronization) and nothing
6) test of the ECI USB modem at my neighbor's (the 2nd) => the modem has a solid green light (synchronized)
7) Free asked me if there is a capacitor connected to my line => there isn't. I have 2 outlets in the apartment, and 1 filter on each.
Free tells me that the position test indicates that their equipment at the NRA level is functional (directly connecting a modem at the NRA level and testing the speeds). I asked to have the speed test values, but they won't give them to me.
I don't know what this could be due to? Moreover, if Free thinks the problem comes from the apartment, they charge for the intervention. What to do? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello everyone,
the Free technician came to my place last Wednesday for the same issue as you (slow loading since more than a month, but I only noticed it at the beginning of last week because I had opened the line before moving).
He then opened a Gamot ticket and shortly after, a position test was carried out, which just came back positive this morning; the installations are working correctly.
The problem therefore lies with France Telecom, and I don't know how long it will take to get a response.
I sent a letter to Free to avoid being charged for August and September until this is resolved.
Wait and see.
