I have a Canon MP 140 PIXMA printer with a scanner. I installed the driver from the CD, but the installation did not work with Windows XP as usual. This issue is common among Algerians; they prepare new solutions every day ............

You need to uninstall the drivers (in Control Panel, Add or Remove) then turn it off and put your CD back in. That's it.
