How to reply to a private message

Good evening
Someone told me that they had sent me a message in DM so that I could reply to them privately or in my inbox. Can you tell me how to do that? I didn't quite understand.

    to reply, once you’ve opened it, just click on "reply to ..." like in a forum discussion.

    Sorry for intruding on this topic but I would like to understand one thing:
    Can an anonymous user have a private messaging system on CCM?
    Since when has this been possible?
    I thought you had to be a member to have one.

      In fact, maman_inquiete is registered as a member in rights/finance, but anonymously here, as she is not logged in....
      As a result, Grrouuiik's advice is perfectly valid provided she logs in first....
