I received a call from 0177456900 two hours ago,
I answered and then a distant and strange voice repeated that I was going to die in 7 days, called me by my last name and said it was too bad, I'm young.
Then it hung up. I thought it was a joke from someone I knew, but no... I called back the number and a voicemail tells me to wait as they will connect me to an agent... then it hung up.
Nice call to get after work...
I really hope the people behind all this get caught, because I find this joke of VERY bad taste!

Hi,
make sure to report it to your local police
because they exploit people's gullibility to get them to call these premium-rate numbers!
Article 222-16, introduced in the French Penal Code by a 2003 law, states that "repeated malicious phone calls or sound harassment aimed at disturbing another's peace are punishable by one year of imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros."
This text applies to anyone whose peace is disturbed by repeated calls, and police services are no exception.
The victim only needs to prove that these calls were made with the intent to cause disturbance.

Me too, the same number: 01 77 45 69 00
Called yesterday at 6:14 PM
Fortunately, I wasn't home and didn't call back. I did a "reverse directory" today, just like you, with the same response as yours, and I typed the number into Google, which led me to this forum :-)
In any case, thanks to you, I won't call this number back, and if this person keeps calling at any hour, I'll refer to the article from Légifrance provided on this forum...

01 77 45 69 00
Did you find out who it was?
Can you believe that for several weeks I've been receiving a call from 01 77 93 93 00 and when I pick up, I hear a beep corresponding to a fax, but this number corresponds to nothing since I'm told by France Telecom that it is no longer in service. Have you found a solution to this thorny and, above all, "annoying" problem! Excuse my language!
Thank you very much.
Same for me, it's annoying and Orange can't do anything
I am going to file a complaint, everyone should do the same + Consumer Association
