Hello,
it's been two years now since I have a Bouygues Telecom subscription, and I'm used to huge bills (in my case 250 euros/month), as I often call my girlfriend who is abroad.
In the last two months, I've accumulated two bills totaling 540 euros, but I do not wish to pay them. First of all, I'm simply fed up, and secondly, I don't have such an amount. I was told that I risk being listed as Preventel, but that doesn't bother me; I would be fine with just a pay-as-you-go SIM. That said, I am wondering the following question: do I risk facing legal action, fines,... or only being listed?
Thank you for taking an interest in my case.Configuration: Windows XP

Hello,
Just a quick tip for those who might be interested!!
Following a 5-day trial conducted with a bailiff, I can assure you that mobile phone operators have no recourse in case of non-payment except for filing with Preventel.
Indeed, provided that the debt does not exceed 1500 euros, bailiffs do not go to the homes of bad payers.
Bailiffs simply send reminders with threats for a period ranging from one to six months (check for yourself; operators often call on 5 or 6 different bailiffs to prolong the process)
So in case of unpaid bills, there's no need to panic: either you negotiate with the operator, or you can expect to receive plenty of "official" paperwork for the fireplace!!!!
There you go!!

My situation is that I have subscribed to various operators, but having lost my job, I am completely unable to pay my bills and I do not want to pay them. So what will happen if I do not pay?
- Am I at risk of being listed as a bad payer?
- Am I at risk of a fine?
- Am I at risk of going to prison?
Knowing that I live with my parents, I have nothing in my name, so if bailiffs come to my home one day, what will they seize? And does being listed as a bad payer for 5 years erase the amount of unpaid bills?
Please help me.
Your response is a bit old but I'm taking my chance.. I'm currently in the middle of a series of letters like this, which I must admit doesn’t really worry me yet. I believe that collection agencies have no other means than pressure to do their job. However, I still want to resolve this situation in... say the medium term ;).
My case: I terminated my Bouygues subscription via SFR (portability). As luck would have it, on the last Bouygues bill, I find myself with 1271 texts and 6h51 of out-of-bundle communications. Of course, it is out of the question for me to pay the entirety of this amount since it does not correspond to what I actually consumed.
My question is the following: is Bouygues' claims service willing to negotiate? Simply put, in my case, I want to call them and share this request (it’s my responsibility for never having responded to their reminders..) to only pay for my actual communications.
Is this feasible...?
Thank you in advance,
Remsy
